Please take a moment to read our refund policy, which outlines the terms and conditions for requesting refunds. This policy complies with applicable UK laws and is designed to ensure transparency and fairness for both parties.
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1 Live and Retrospective Illustrations
Painted by Powell offers both live and retrospective (post-event) illustration services. Due to the custom and time-sensitive nature of our work, refunds are generally not available once work has begun. In the rare case that Painted by Powell is unable to fulfil a confirmed booking due to unforeseen circumstances or if your event date changes, we will do our best to find a suitable replacement illustrator. If no suitable replacement can be arranged, the original booking deposit will remain non-refundable.
2.2 Refunds for Unavailability
If Painted by Powell is unable to fulfil your confirmed booking and no illustration service is delivered, you will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit.
2.3 Non-Refundable Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit covers initial planning, date reservation, and admin costs, and cannot be refunded under normal circumstances.
3. Requesting a Refund
3.1 How to Request
To request a refund, please email Paintedbypowell@outlook.com with your booking reference and reason for your request.
3.2 Review Process
All refund requests will be reviewed by Painted by Powell and assessed based on the eligibility criteria outlined above.
3.3 Timeline
If approved, refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days and returned via your original payment method.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 Cancellation by Customer
If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us as early as possible. The deposit and any additional payments already made are non-refundable.
4.2 Cancellation by Painted by Powell
In the event that Painted by Powell must cancel a confirmed booking due to unexpected circumstances, we will first attempt to arrange a suitable replacement. If no alternative can be arranged, a full refund — including the deposit — will be issued.
5. Safety and Well-being
The safety and well-being of our team is a top priority. Painted by Powell reserves the right to withdraw or end services early if any team member feels unsafe, experiences harassment, or encounters inappropriate behaviour at an event. We operate a zero-tolerance policy in these situations.
